Reporting Analyst (SQL)

Manchester, Stoke or Glasgow

About the role

As a Reporting Analyst, you will work closely with the service and problem management team for our large enterprise customers for both private and public sector frameworks they use and the ways in which they work. Analysing and assessing bids pre contract sign through to providing automated reporting for our external customers.

We are looking for someone who can support the design, development and production of service performance reports through basic coding methods, reporting and analysis. Data quality will play a big part of this role, so a keen eye for detail is a must. You will be responsible for performing trend analysis to identify recurring service issues, whilst continuously driving service improvements, as well as governing new system codes for our incident management system for a repeatable self-serve report model.

This role will be great for someone with a basic to good understanding of SQL, who enjoys analysing data and relaying findings to a wide audience. Full training and support will be provided.


Do you have experience with the following?  

  • Basic working knowledge of SQL or Oracle
  • Understanding of ITIL
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and able to suggest improvements

Advantageous but not essential: 

  • Visual Basics
  • Excel
  • Familiar with QMS (audit compliancy regulations)
  • Customer Service experience for Fixed Line network
  • Knowledge of Remedy and the quality framework
  • Understanding of contracts and ability to translate the necessary measures for performance reporting
