Leads the UI/UX project team. Drives UX Requireme nt Gathering. Information Architecture.




  • Lead UX/UI team in creating beautiful, function al digital experiences across our websites and apps. 

  • Participate in allstages of sit e development process and work effectively supporting all strategic needs for a ll Bed Bath & Beyond concepts. 

  • Execute a strategic vision atthe onset of a proje ct and work with the team to deliver on this vision at every step of the design and development process. 

  • Understand current web design challenges, including browser and cross-platform compatibility, and ensure overall quality and positive cust omer experience. 
    Provide regular design feedback and guidance and facilitate collaboration between team members.

  • Identify requirements; develop custo mer journey maps, and design andprototype interfaces.

    Manage project timelines, scop e and team allocation. 

  • Seekout processes, tools, and methods to optimize team produc tivity and to allow for a higher level of innovation. 

  • Communicate with stakeholders, upper management, and other departments on project status and team needs. 

  • Think strat egically about customer needs and how to best reconcile those with business goa ls. 

  • Maintain and grow our Style Guide and Design Language System. 

  • Mentor younger designers and foster a culture of innovation. 

  • Work closely with cross-functionalteams and coll aborate with product managers, developers, and designers.

  • Stay current with trends in UX, design and ecommerce.  


Typical Outputs


  • 8+ years of design work focused on User Experience< /span>

  • 3+ years’ experience leading a design team

  • Demonstrated experience tr anslating consumer insights into clean, elegant experiences 

  • In-depth kn owledge of human centered innovation approaches

  • Preference will be given to candidateswho have experience designing complex solutions for complet e digital environments.

  • Clear understanding of the User Centered Design process

  • Experience in User testing

  • Abilit y toclearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and stakeholders, business and tech teams

  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently

  • Transl ate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experience s

  • Design and deliver Personas, Taskflows, User journeys, Taskflo ws, IA, Lo-fi and Hi-fi UX wireframes

  • Robust understanding of na vigation models, interaction models and micro-interactions

  • Stron g Analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Connect UX strategy to bus iness results

  • Expertise in UX software such as In Vision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js, Quartz Composer, and the like is a must. Ba sic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus.

  • Ability to work with clients to under stand detailed requirementsand design complete user experiences that meet clie nt needs and vision.

  • Extensive experiencein using UX design best practices to design so lutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.

  • A solid grasp o f user-centered design andtesting methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.

  • Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.

HFI CUA or CXA certification / Stanford D School Certification / IDEO Design Thinking Certification / Hasso Plattner I nstitut Certification



  • Excellent in English(Verbal & written), any other European language is an added advantage
