Energy Services & Analytics Senior Lead Analyst

Purpose of the role as the Business Analyst in Technology Shared Services (TSS) is to be the key interface between his/her team towards other TSS teams, local markets, group functions (Supply Chain Management, Finance and Sustainable Business teams), energy managers, teams, key stakeholders, management and project team members to understand business requirements and  analyze, evaluate, and refine processes to ensure the service meets the business needs, which enable Vodafone Group and local markets to deliver energy consumption, cost savings, work efficiency and productivity .

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

·         Manage stakeholder relationships with all Markets & within TSS; CTOs, Directors, energy managers & decision owners within the market in addition to TSS analytics and TSS engineering teams.

·         Own the development of innovative new services from concept to delivery, with responsibility for service definition and management.

·         Responsible for ensuring a complete and traceable mapping of business requirements between domains and designing, building, testing, operating, performing user acceptance testing and continually improving services with the process mapping and work flow to meet Vodafone & customers’ business requirements.

·         Responsible for understanding and assessing the impact of small, medium and large changes across the business to come to new conclusions based on the findings and developing integrated business analyses and future service projections to meet business requirements

·         Responsible for investigations, definition and implementation of improvements to ensure successful delivery of solutions with the highest standards against business requirements and monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

·         Responsible for evaluating business risks and predicting potential problems with their solutions.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

·         A minimum of 5 years of experience in Energy field.

·         Very strong interpersonal skills; time management, written/oral communication, presentation, persuasion, strategic planning, problem solving & analytical skills.

·         Experience in project Agile delivery and  in data analytics and visualizations (e.g. competency in advanced Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook )

·         Highly customer focused individual with a clear passion for delivering ahead of customer and business expectations together with the ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions

·         Strategic Planning, Business Model Analysis, Process Design, Systems Analysis, Project Planning to produce clear business plans & solutions.

Must have technical/professional qualifications:

·      Degree in IT, science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

·      Service Management (e.g. ITIL) and business improvement (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).

·      Good understanding of energy and telecommunication technology. Ideally experience with smart meter and controls technology and data protocols/interfaces, (e.g. M-Bus, Modbus, Json, CSV).

·      Excellent English language skills (spoken and written) and ideally additional languages like German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Turkish.
