The role islo cated in VSSI (Vodafone Shared Services India) Pune within the Project EVO resp onsible for providing shared services to operating companies throughout theVod afone group along with central ERP system using SAP applications. Transactional processes are managed for Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Lust to Dust, Record to Report, Treasury and Cash Management & their respective reporting in BI/ BO/HANA.

 

 

 

The BI team member is expected to help at an architect lev el with queries relating to data loads monitoring/reporting, data modelling, BI job scheduling, BI ticket analysis, BI capacity / performance management, opti mization of process chains, year-end close/month end close checksin BI, SPM an alysis etc. HANA and BO skills are an added plus.

Th e BI team member will also interact with and manage internaland external BI st akeholders during day to day operations.

  • Provide Operational Excellence for E VO in the SAP BI area

  • Analyse and monitor data loads

  • BI Quality Assessment Reports

  • Daily BI health check report

  • Proposal for BI redesign for perform ance improvement as appropriate

  • Data modelling analysis

  • BI job scheduling analysis

  • BI ticket analysis

  • BI capacity / performance management

  • Optimization of process chains

  • Year-end close/month end close checks inBI

  • SPM analysis

  • Optimize usage of HANA and BO. Customers, Suppliers and Third Parties 

  • Clarify processes to end users and business stakeholders as required

  • Provide detailed transactional information to internal and external auditor s as required

  • Work with incumbent support partners to report and resolve any progr am related error with the BI processes.
  • Work with HR, Supply Chain and Finance data owners to fix data issues or to re-assign responsibilities

  • Provide a highly customer focused service to the end users ensuring their proc esses are not delayed

  • Collaborate openly with other VISPL departments

    Leadership and Teamwork

  • Contribute to achievement of BI team performance and quality standards as defined service level agreements

  • Validate and Administer approved changere quests

  • Suppor ting role in ongoing and special projects

  • Contribute to the overall success of the VISPL BI O perations Team

  • Be selfmotivated and proactive to ensure that BI issues cause minimum impact to end user communities

Knowledge and experience

 

  • Ensure effective Error Trend An alysis and Problem Management

  • Work in that SAP BI team and provide missing technical and operational expertise fo r Major Incident Managementand support EVO Support Partner to close their know ledge gaps

  • Provide supportof Major Incident Management and ensure timely resolution of Major Incidents

  • Ensure SAP functional best practices are adhe red to during Incident and Problem investigation and resolution

  • Provide technical feasibility andappropriateness of proposed incident & problem resolutions when alternativesolutions are a vailable

  • Provide capability to perf orm incident & problemmanagement resolution activities as appropriate in e xceptional circumstances

  • Provide appr opriate assessment of SAP OSS notes with regard to relevance for EVO Operations

  • Perform detailed planning & proj ectmanagement of implementation activities for updates & patching where re quired

     

    Communicatio n

 

  • Identifying and raising issues to local Business Ow ners or management to achieve resolution

  • Contribute input and coordination to training docume ntation
