The Career Opportunity
Based in Hong Kong, the Bid & Contract Manager will support and manage 3rd party supplier requirements for Bid opportunities and In-Life renewals, generating savings and margin improvement for the APAC business

Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the sourcing approach across allocated Customer Bids, driving internal stakeholders and account teams to deliver accurate and appropriate business requirements to enable the delivery of sourcing solutions. Stakeholder management responsibilities including representing SCM through governance and potentially externally to Customers
• Responsible for all vendor cost input into the Enterprise bid & the tracking of associate SCM benefits across the exercise
• Responsible for in-life management throughout the SCM Enterprise life cycle including transitioning vendors into Vodafone, commercial tracking and control, performance management and final sign off of acceptance / delivery milestones
• Responsible for SCM reporting and communications across the Enterprise portfolio managed

• 1-3 years of Purchasing experience
• Good insight into the telecoms industry, both from a commercial and technical perspective
• Knowledge of procurement across complex IT systems, Managed Service provision and vendor management
• Contractual experience
• Negotiation skills
• Strong programme / time management and governance skills demonstrated over complex and multi-country programmes
• Good influencing behaviours, ability to work with more senior business levels
